For those who read this blog during my mission ago got a glimpse into one of the great disciples of the Lord, Michael Francisco. He was my companion for two transfers during my time in Makati 3/4. I got word yesterday that he passed away, leaving behind a beautiful wife and daughter... along with an incredible legacy. He was a man of faith, action, and positivity. He was a high caliber missionary and fervent believer in the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Here's an excerpt from a previous blog entry that makes me laugh. Definitely reminds me of how honest and humorous he always was when we were companions. I recommend reading about him in my other posts!
He just wanted to work and do what the Lord wanted him to do. I don't want to go on boring tirades about our experiences, but I do want to highlight that now, just like then, that he knew the Plan of Salvation was true, to the point that he lived it. This Easter Sunday, I am grateful, now more than ever, that Jesus Christ lives! And because he lives, Elder Francisco lives! I will see that pogi 'der again.
